Soak in the hot tub under a sky full of stars, watch the kids battle it out in the neon-lit arcade, and gather everyone around the fire pit while Sugar Mountain glows in the distance. This newly renovated 5-bedroom mountain retreat sleeps 10 in comfort, with a dedicated workspace for the ones who can't fully unplug. Your High Country escape starts here.

ABOUT THIS SPACE

Welcome to Klonteska, a fully renovated mountain chalet where every detail has been considered, from the coffee bar stocked for early risers to the secret camping-themed bunk room the kids will beg to sleep in. This isn't a tired vacation rental; it's a professionally designed retreat built for real family time and the kind of long-range Blue Ridge views that stop conversations mid-sentence.

MAIN FLOOR
Gather in the open kitchen with its dedicated coffee bar, drip, French press, and Keurig all covered, while the family room's stone fireplace and 60-inch Smart TV keep everyone in one room instead of scattered across the house. Step through the French doors onto the deck, where the hot tub, gas grill, and long-range views of Sugar Mountain make golden hour the best hour of the day.
- Bedroom 1: King bed, 55-inch Smart TV, full bath just steps away
- Game Room: A neon-lit arcade with Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, NFL Blitz, Fast and Furious, plus air hockey, the room that turns "I'm bored" into "just five more minutes"

TOP FLOOR
A quiet retreat above it all.
- Bedroom 2: King bed, full bath with shower

BOTTOM FLOOR
Where the rest of the crew unwinds.
- Bedroom 3: King bed, 55-inch Smart TV, private backyard access
- Bedroom 4: The "secret" camping-themed kids' room, tucked away with two twin beds under teepee canopies
- Bedroom 5: Queen bed, bright and cozy
- Full bathroom with shower, plus a full laundry room with washer and dryer

Every bed is dressed for comfort, think plush king mattresses and thoughtful linens, and every common space is built for a crowd. Whether it's a ski weekend or a family reunion, Klonteska sleeps 10 without anyone feeling like they're roughing it.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

Multi-family ski trips: Two families can spread out across 5 bedrooms and 3 baths, then reconvene for game nights in the arcade.
Couples' getaways: A hot tub, a fireplace, and wine on the deck under the stars work just as well for two as they do for ten.
Family reunions with kids: The secret bunk room and the arcade keep the youngest guests entertained while the adults relax.
Wedding and Lees-McRae weekends: Walkable to the Village and close to campus, this is an easy home base for out-of-town guests.
Remote workers extending the trip: A dedicated workspace and reliable Wifi mean a morning call, then the slopes by lunch.

PARKING

Parking is limited to 2 large vehicles (SUVs or trucks) or 3 medium vehicles (crossovers or sedans) on the property. If your group is arriving in more vehicles than that, please plan to secure offsite parking in the Village, since street parking near the home is limited. There is no EV charger on site, so plan charging accordingly if you're arriving in an electric vehicle.
